BACD provides education to the neurodisability workforce

We do this by:

  • partnering with Sheffield Children's Hospital to develop and spread the Neurodisability Distance Learning Diploma, revising the content for a multi-disciplinary audience;
  • developing a range of stand alone distance learning units on key important topics;
  • continuing to deliver high quality scientific and practice-based education through national events as well as regional meetings.

As the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health specialty group for paediatric neurodisability, BACD is involved in the development and delivery of sub-specialty training for paediatric neurodisability, and works closely with the College Specialty Advisory Committee (CSAC).
