Paediatrics: Neurodisability sub-specialty training

As of 1 August 2018, sub-specialty trainees use the RCPCH Progress Level 3 Generic syllabus alongside the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health Progress Paediatric Neurodisability Syllabus. Visit RCPCH for information and to download the syllabus and curriculum. As a specialty group for the RCPCH, BACD is involved in the development and delivery of sub-specialty training for paediatric neurodisability.

The College Specialty Advisory Committees (CSACs) supervise the development and delivery of subspecialty training and the assessment standards.

Paediatrics: Neurodisability SPIN module

Level 3 paediatric trainees are able to apply for a SPIN module in paediatric neurodisability. This is additional training and experience in a clinical area, in which a 12-18 month placement is completed.
