The BACD Gala Dinner took place on Thursday 12 March in Sheffield, encompassing the formal launch to celebrate the organisation becoming a charity, and the inaugural BACD Achievement Awards, to recognise the achievements of professionals working in paediatric disability in the UK, disabled young people and their families.

Inspiring professional in 2019 - Susie Turner

Lifetime Achievement Award - Professor Gillian Baird and Dr Val Harpin
