Pilot of data collection
The four pilot sites, Evelina London Children's Hospital, Great Ormond St Hospital, Solent NHS Trust, and Great North Children's Hospital, completed an audit in June and July 2022 to assess compliance with the “Weigh to Go” Standards of appropriate weighing and measuring children at every visit.
Following the pilot we have developed an excel spreadsheet for each provider to use as a data collection tool, and a Word Document proforma for each champion to complete for their trust/provider in order to outline.
The four pilot site centres, based on the audit data completed, would currently be at green or bronze membership level, with clear evidence that striving towards higher level membership will improve care. Areas for improvement that could be implemented were highlighted.
