BACD launches Paediatric Disability Achievement Awards
Recognising the achievements of professionals working in paediatric disability in the UK, disabled young people and their families.
BACD is calling for nominations to its inaugural Achievement Awards, which will be presented at a Gala Dinner on 12 March 2020 in Sheffield.
The dinner will be a formal celebration of the organisation becoming a charity, as well as recognising the achievements of professionals working in paediatric disability in the UK, disabled young people and their families.
We need our membership to get involved so we invite you to nominate prize–winners for the following four categories:
- Inspiring young person in 2019
- Inspiring parent, carer or sibling in 2019
- Inspiring professional in 2019
- Best photo or picture to capture ethos of BACD award 2019
There will also be a Lifetime Achievement Award presented for outstanding contribution to BACD throughout their personal and/or professional life.
Anyone with an interest in childhood disability is invited to attend the dinner and awards ceremony.
Deadline to nominate to any of the awards is 5pm, Friday 31 January 2020
