Registration Information

  • Discount for all delegates booking to attend both days of the ASM in-person in Sheffield
  • Early Bird rate will apply until 15 December 2025
  • Standard rate will apply from 16 December 2025
  • Late rate will apply from 23 February 2026

What's included All delegates will received: 

  • A PDF of the full programme handout by email in advance of the event. 
  • A certificate of attendance (on completion of the evaluation form) in PDF format. Please note that we cannot personalise certificates with individual names. 
  • A link to the recordings to view talks for the conference on Wednesday 11 March for 6 weeks after the event. Please note this is dependent on:
    • Speakers providing consent for their talk to be recorded
    • Where videos of patients, identifying information, or unpublished research is presented, these may be removed from the final recording at the request of the speaker 
    • AV technology working as intended and saving recordings in a usable format

In-Person delegates also receive refreshments and chef's treats on arrival and during scheduled breaks throughout the day, hot cooked lunch and desserts. 

Virtual delegates must ensure they have a suitable internet connection available and are able to access the online streaming platform Zoom.

Gala Dinner - Tuesday 10 March 

Join us for an evening of celebration and dancing! The Gala Dinner will include the PDDL diploma graduation and awards ceremony, a 3-course sit down meal, followed by a disco. The Gala Dinner will take place at the event venue, the Royal Victoria Crown Plaza Sheffield, arrival from 7pm, dinner from 7.30pm and carriages at 11pm. Please note that the Gala Dinner is in addition to the main annual scientific meeting and can be booked through the booking system below. The Gala Dinner is open to all delegates, as well as colleagues, family and friends who are not attending the ASM but would like to attend the dinner.

  • Doctor - medical doctors not in a training programme, e.g. consultant, SAS doctor
  • Resident Doctor - medical doctors currently in a training programme, e.g. ST1-8, junior/senior clinical fellow, out of programme trainee 
  • Non-Medical Professional - Allied Health Professional, Nurse and other non-medical professionals working with disabled children and young people 
  • Undergraduate students & Foundation Drs - studying for a Bachelors degree or in a Foundation Training Programme

Booking Information

  • We do not issue invoices. Payment needs to be made using the online booking system below. The booking and payment confirmation emails act as your receipt.
  • The booking payment page will NOT work with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Please use an alternative browser (such as Edge, Chrome or Firefox) or access via your mobile phone. 
  • You need to be logged into your user account to purchase discounted member-rate tickets. If you are not able to log in, please contact the BACD office.
  • All correspondence regarding the ASM will be via email. It is the delegate's responsibility to ensure they enter their email address accurately.
