Learning Objectives:

1. Understand and appreciate how physical health issues and barriers like diagnostic overshadowing
   result in the premature deaths of people with learning disabilities (LD)
2. Learn practical approaches when assessing physical health issues in a child or young person with
   LD within a paediatric or mental health setting
3. Learn practical approaches to reasonable adjustments and supports for children and young
   people with LD when they attend a paediatric inpatient setting
