This module aims to help professionals and those who come into contact with infants, children and young people who have complex healthcare needs and may require emergency treatment. It covers the Core Principles involved in the development of an Emergency Healthcare Plan (EHP) and builds on the personal experiences of professionals and carers who use the plans.

Emergency Healthcare Plans - Guidance for professionals

This module covers what an Emergency Healthcare Plan is and provides guidance on  how to draw up a plan. It also deals with some of the more difficult situations that will arise when dealing with a child who has complex and life threatening healthcare needs.

This module aims to help doctors work with children who have special educational needs. The module is a resource for health professionals designed to enable them to better diagnose sickness in children with learning disabilities.
