The trust/health board has signed up to the BACD “Weigh to go” initiative

  • There is a nominated “weigh to go champion” in the trust/health board, who is responsible for ongoing communication between BACD and the professionals within their organisation.
  • There is a clear plan to implement improvement in patient care, by improving growth monitoring for all children including for vulnerable groups including disabled children, looked after children and those with neurodevelopmental diversity.
  • There is evidence that at least some of the Bronze accreditation criteria are already in place, and there is a clear commitment to achieve Bronze status.
