BACD is calling for abstracts to showcase excellent clinical practice as well as novel and national research in the following two categories:

Novel multi-disciplinary working
Results of evaluation must be included

Original research or quality improvement
- Must include results and conclusions
- Reports of audits must include completion of the audit cycle and must illustrate new ways of working which will be generalisable to other teams

BACD encourages submissions from all members of the multi-disciplinary team, especially those in trainee positions and therapy professionals.

  • Abstracts will be blind peer reviewed. 
  • You can submit as many abstracts as you wish. 
  • You will be contacted in the new year to confirm if your abstract has been selected (or not) for poster presentation. If you are selected, you (or a member of your team) will be required to register as a delegate to present the poster. 
  • Undergraduate students and foundation doctors who are selected will receive complimentary registration. There are no other bursaries available.

Mac Keith Poster Prize
The £250 Mac Keith Poster Prize will be awarded to the best poster presentation reporting innovative multidisciplinary working for children and young people with neurodisability and their families.
