Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability and Neurorehabilitation

Location: Tadworth, Surrey

Salary: Competitive

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading healthcare provider for children with brain injury and neurodisability. They deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through their national specialist centre and The Children’s Trust School based in Tadworth, Surrey. They also offer support more widely through their Brain Injury Community Service for children and young people across the UK and via their online Brain Injury Hub.

Established 35 years ago, they have a team of 560 staff and 1,100 volunteers who are dedicated to providing children with brain injury and neurodisability the opportunity to live the best life possible. They have a commitment to continuous quality improvement and exemplary standards of care, as evidenced by their ‘Outstanding’ ratings from both the Care Quality Commission and Ofsted (Care).

The Children’s Trust has a strong international reputation and is the only paediatric centre with a national specialised commissioning contract to provide brain injury rehabilitation for children with severe brain injury. Their other services are funded through local health commissioners, social care and education authorities, together with millions raised through voluntary fundraising.

Building on their success, continued growth and ambitious plans to extend their reach, they are now looking for Consultants to join their multidisciplinary medical team to support, treat and provide clinical care for children and young people with acquired brain injury and complex neurodisability. This is an exciting opportunity and time to join The Children’s Trust and be able to make a significant contribution and impact in an organisation that lives its values everyday through its committed, expert and caring staff.

We are looking for Consultants with experience in Paediatric neurodisability including physical disability who will support the ambitions and aims of the Children’s Trust and share their values of being can-do, collaborative, caring and supportive, fun, professional and child and family focused.
