Advance care planning for babies, children and young people. Listening to families and professionals

Funded by Marie Curie, this is a multi-perspective qualitative study to understand the experience and impact of the Child and Young Person’s Advance Care Plan – CYPACP.

Although their launch has been delayed by COVID-19, It seems fitting to share these during the Dying Matters awareness week which recognises the importance of opening up conversations about end of life. We found that the CYPACP can really help families and staff to have these important conversations. However, done well, the CYPACP can also be a valuable plan for life.
